Facilities
Clean Room cGMP norms
The Clean Room along with Change Rooms, Ante Room and Exit Room occupies about five hundred square feet. The clean room has epoxy coated floor, covings and wall coated with anti-fungal paint. The clean room is supplied with HEPA filtered air at Class 10,000 and has a working area at Class 100.
Quality Control
  • All equipments to be calibrated.
  • All containers and reagents are tested and certified, sterile, non- toxic and non-pyrogenic. Clean room, air monitoring and sterility maintenance SOPs.
  • SOPs for entry and exit of  personnel and material. SOPs for waste disposal.
Quality Assurance
Viability before and after processing.

Nucleated cell counts before and after processing.

CD-34 count by flow cytometry after  processing

CFU-GM assay before freezing and revival after different time intervals to be done for validation
 
Stem Cell Storage Facility
The isolated stem cells from the umbilical cord blood are stored in the ISO certified cryo cans in liquid nitrogen at –196 0C.
The cans are routinely checked for their physical environment and liquid nitrogen levels. The new US Based Cryo Storage device has been installed which can store around 400 Samples inside.
